Q: What is your maximum productions capacity (boards per day)? A: Depends on the size of the PCB and the number of components per board. Please contact us with details for more information Q: What are your hours of operation? A: Regular business hours 9AM-5PM EST, but with flexibility to meet the jobs needs, additional shifts can be added. Q: How fast can prototypes be turned around? A: Within 48 hours of receiving a complete kit. Extremely complex layouts may require additional time. Q: Can you provide ROHS compliance? A: We are fully capable of providing lead-free and RoHS compliance. More info... Q: Can your run handle a mixture of leaded and non-leaded components? A: Yes, we have experience with hybrid profiles and mixed lead and lead free component runs. Q: What information will be needed to quote and produce our assemblies? A: Each job is different, for a typical quote we need to know quantity of boards, size of boards, number of components on the board, type of parts, etc. To produce a job we require Gerber files, PNP files, and a BOM. These files can be submitted through our secured client login page. Q: Do you accept SMT parts on "cut tape" or bulk packaging? A: Typically we require full reels. Exceptions may be made on a job by job basis. Q: What are your size limitations on components? (How small / how large) A: We can accommodate any components from 0201 to large BGA/QFP packages. You can contact us with specific requirements. Q: What is your size limitation on PCBs? A: 18” X 24” for production, 17.7" X 15.7" for inspection via AOI. Q: What percentage of excess material is needed to ensure a complete run? A: Typically, 3% excess is required depending on the size of the job. Q: Can you provide a first article piece before the production run? A: Yes, we can. Q: If so, how long will you hold the line? A: This is based on a job by job basis, depending on our current workload, and will be discussed during the quoting process. At a minumum, we can hold for 2-3 days, allowing time for yor to receive and test your product. Q: If this time is exceeded are there additional charges incurred? A: This will be discussed upon happening. If your job is holding up another job and you have exceeded your allotted grace period, you may be charged additional setup fees. |
